inTune is a full blow, desktop like music player built for the Facebook platform. The first thing that will catch your attention with this is app is its design. The player is very clean and simple looking, reminiscent of the iTune player. You’ll need FlashPlayer in order to use inTune on account of its super slick design.

inTune isn’t just a pretty looking app. This piece of Facebook eye candy packs a powerful punch of musical social networking. inTune allows you to see what the most popular music is among Facebook users, your Networks, or just your friends. This allows you to discover new artists from people who have similar tastes as you. In addition, inTunes helps you discover new music by suggesting related artists or songs based on the songs you are currently playing in inTunes.

What makes inTune even more impressive is its super huge collection of songs. You can run a search through the inTunes player for artists or songs. I didn’t have any trouble finding the groups that I was looking for.

Finally, inTune lets your Facebook friends know who your favorite artists are by creating a slick looking collage of album art of your most played artists.

• Super slick design. This has be to the prettiest app design I’ve seen.
• Leverages Facebook’s social network to the max. Find out what other people on Facebook are listening to and discover new music.
• Suggests new artists based on your tastes.
• Huge music collection. The library has thousands upon thousands of songs. Very impressive.

Probook Facebook Application

What is the Probook Facebook App?

Probook is a simple, but effective professional directory. When I first started playing around with it, it reminded me a lot of LinkedIn. What I like about Probook is that its a professional directory that’s parred down to the bare essentials. After installing the app, you are asked to select which profession you are in and give a brief description of yourself.  Friends and contacts you have made can give you a rating that potential employers could use as a basis for recommendations. They can also leave short feedback messages about you.

Probook Facebook App Pros

• Simple. Some apps are getting way to complicated. It’s nice to see one that values simplicity.
• Leverages social network by allowing you to rank your friends.
• Connect with others in your profession.

Probook Facebook App Cons

• There are few bugs. One that I noticed when I used it was when I was typing in the “About” box, instead of staying in the box, the text continued out of it.
• It would be nice if there were different categories for the rankings that deal with work like “creativity” or “work ethic” or “leadership.” That way employers will have a better view of your strength and weaknesses in these areas.
• Other than that, I couldn’t see any other improvements that could be made this app. Great job!

Favorite Games lets you display what your favorite video games are in your Facebook profile. You can also show what games you’ve played, want to play, or have finished playing. This seeing what games your friends have, you can find out which games you could swap with them.

Not only does Favorite Games allow you to display your favorite games, you can also rate video games and see what the most popular ones are among Facebook users. This app was a lot of fun to play around with.

• Leverages Facebook’s social network by allowing you to rank video games and getting recommendations from your friends.
• App links to a game’s info page and trailer. So if you see a game that intrigues you, you can easily find out more information about it.

• I couldn’t find anything wrong with this app. It’s got the whole package.

Wiki Whiteboard Facebook Application

What is Wiki Whiteboard Facebook App?

Wiki Whiteboard is a really cool Facebook app. Really cool. You can create an wiki within Facebook that you and your friends can use to collaberate on projects or just collaborate on creating fun content.  Editing is super easy with its WYSIWYG get editor. Another awesome feature on Whiteboard are the widgets you can add to your wiki. There are a ton of them like a YouTube video widget which allows you to put videos on your Whiteboard Wiki. I also liked how Whiteboard has set up several ready to go templates for you to use based on your needs, like a party planner or note taking template. Overall this is a great app!

Criticker Facebook Application

What is the Criticker Facebook App?

Criticker is a movie review app from the film recommendation community site, Criticker.com.  Criticker lets you show in your profile page what films you’ve been watching lately and get recommendations from your friends on new movies to watch. There are tons of movies to choose from. I liked how they not only have older movies, but also recent releases. You have to rank the movies on the Criticker website, so you’ll have to leave Facebook. Also, in order to have your reviews show up on your profile, you have to manually refresh your profile.

Criticker Pros

• Leverages Facebook’s social network by allowing you to get movie recommendations from your friends.
• Huge selection of movies to choose from. Seriously. A ton.
• Access to a huge online movie review forum.

Criticker Cons

• You have to leave Facebook to actually rank the movies. It’s not that big of a deal, but a more integrated app would be much more user friendly.
• You also have to manually refresh your profile every time you make a review. However, this isn’t the developer’s fault. Facebook won’t let them do it any other way.

Hypercube Facebook Application

What is the Hypercube Facebook application?

Hypercube allows Facebook users to collect and share web widgets that they discover right in their Facebook profile. For example, say you’re cruising Google Gadgets and you spot a cool web widget that you like and would like to share with others. Just copy the code and paste in Hypercube. Your Facebook friends will be able to see which apps you have saved. In addition, you can view your friends’ widgets to discover new widgets.

That’s not all. Hypercube has been designed to integrate with a forthcoming release of Amnesty’s Hypercube desktop platform. The desktop will automatically sync with Facebook, so the apps you have stored will be displayed on the Hypercube desktop.

Funny4MySpace Facebook Applications

Funn4MySpace isn’t a single Facebook application. Rather, it’s a site with several different My Space and Facebook applications. Each widget works in both Facebook and MySpace. What kind of apps does Funny4MySpace have? Let’s find out.

What is the College Toolkit Facebook App?

If I were to design a Facebook Application, it would look something like College Toolkit. Facebook users getting ready to go to college can use College Toolkit to find out more information about the colleges they’re interested in as well as the people who are applying to those schools. The app has a powerful search tool which allows you to narrow schools down by different criteria like size of school, state, and major, just to name a few. You can save schools to what developers call a “personal briefcase area.” After saving a school in your profile, you can see where other Facebook users are planning on attending.

Some of the fun features include college “shout outs” and “trashing.” Basically you can let your Facebook friends know which schools you like, and rag on your friends for picking schools that you don’t like. They also have a College-ology quiz that’s pretty fun.
