What is the Social Flowers Facebook Application?
Social Flowers allows you to send real fresh flowers to members in your social network. Here’s how it works: The sender chooses a recipient from their friends list - they then select and pay for the flowers at the Social Flowers website. The sender does not enter the delivery address during checkout, this will be provided by the recipient. The recipient receives an email letting them know that fresh flowers have been purchased for them and they are asked to provide an address for the delivery of the flowers. The sender will never have access to the recipient\’s delivery address and the recipient will never have access to the sender\’s address or payment information.

We agree that asking the recipient for a delivery address takes away the surprise and is a drawback in some cases. We are working on modifying the process so that the sender has the option of providing a delivery address or letting us ask the recipient for a delivery address. We started a thread about this under the Social Flowers app and we will update that thread when we have this in place.
