What is the Bookshelf Facebook application?

Some Facebook applications allow you to show off your book collection. Others might allow you to show off your DVDs. Some are also for CDs and games. Bookshelf does all of the above with an enormous database of items that you can add to your collection. It even lets you label each item so others will know whether you have it, want it, have tried it, or love it. It lets you know which people on Facebook either have what you want or want what you have, making borrowing from friends much easier. After enough items have been placed on your Bookshelf, the application will also suggest material that you might like, and the suggestions are fairly accurate.
