What is the Friend Wheel Facebook Application?
Friend Wheel creates a visual representation of how all your Facebook Friends are connected. Each of your friends has a color and lines connect to the people they’re friends with also. What results is a colorful geometic looking wheel of all your friends connections. Your Friend Wheel is displayed in the left column of your Facebook profile. You choose how large it is as well as the color scheme.

- If you have lots of friends, it’s hard to see how all the line connect. It would be cool if you could decide only to see certain friend’s connections. For example, just your college network.

You can now filter by network or random # of friends, but I would like to be able to select exactly which friends to see on the wheel as well as not automatically pushing the most recently generated wheel onto the profile. It’s a cool app though since it shows by home friends and uni friends as two almost separate halves. It’s grouping algorithm is also very effective so you’ll probably find clusters of friends corresponding to clubs/societies.
