What is the Last.fm Music Facebook Application?
Last.fm is an intenet radio and community website. The site has a unique recommendation system called “Audioscrobbler.” The cool thing about Last.fm is that it develops a detailed profile for your musical taste by recording all the songs you’ve listened to. What the Last.fm app does is display in your profile the last few songs you’ve listened to. Your friends can the listen to them and discover new music.

- You have to have an account with Last.fm for it to work, so installation takes some time if aren’t already signed up.

this app is great. contrary to the above review, you don’t have to be a last.fm user to use it (but it’s way way cooler if you are a last.fm user). i’ll like it better when they get their extensive user-generated concert listings up as part of the app, which is in the works.
