What is the Awareness Ribbons Facebook Application?
The Awareness Ribbons App was developed by Jeff Marshal. Awareness Ribbons allow you to post up to four different color ribbons that signify different causes. For example, you can display a yellow ribbon to show your support for the troops.
Awareness Ribbons Pros
- No bugs.
- Lots of different ribbons to choose from.
- The app lists what each ribbon signifies.
Awareness Ribbons Cons
- Only allows 4 ribbons at a time. What if you want more?
- Doesn’t take advantage of Facebook’s social network. It would be cool if it showed which ribbon is being displayed the most.

I added this app and I can’t even add a ribbon and from what I understand, the developer doesn’t even check in to see if there are problems with the app. This app, if it worked, would be cool but I don’t see 50+ ribbons. I see about 10.
There’s a new Awareness Ribbons app — much better! Easier to use, more ribbons, and you can add as many as you like!
